اللَّهُمَّ اِنّى اسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِذَنْبِى وَ اسْئَلُكَ رَحْمَتَكَ
Allahumma inni astaghfiruka li thanbi, wa as’aluka rahmatak
O Allah, I ask you to forgive for my sins, and I ask you for your mercy.

The Supplication of Prophet Yunus (Jonah), peace be upon him

When Prophet Yunus (Jonah/Jonas), peace be upon him, was in the belly of the large whale, he used to pray and say:
لا إِلَهَ إِلا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
La illaha illa Anta Subhanak, inni kuntu min adh-dhalimeen
There is no God but You; Glory be to You, Truly I have been one of the wrongdoers

Thikr for the Day and Night

Morning:
اللهم بك أصبحنا وبك أمسينا وبك نحيا وبك نموت وإليك المصير
al-lahum-ma bika asba-h-na wa bika am-saina wa bika nah-ya wa bika na-mutu wa ilaikal-masi-r.
O Lord, by your grace, we have begun this morning, and by your grace shall we traverse this evening, by your grace shall we live, and at your behest shall we die, and to you is our return.
Evening:
اللهم بك أمسينا وبك أصبحنا وبك نحيا وبك نموت وإليك النشور
al-lahum-ma bika am-saina wa bika as-ba-h-na wa bika nah-ya wa bika na-mutu wa ilay-kan-nuschur.
O Lord, by your grace have we arrived at the evening, by your grace shall we live, and at your behest shall we die, and in your hands is resurrection.

Two Words

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said: “Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, they are loved by the Most Merciful One.”
سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ وَ بِحَمْدِهِ ، سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ الْعَظِيمِ
Subhan Allahi wa bihamdih, Subhan Allahi aladheem
Glory be to Allah, and Praise, Glory be to Allah, the Supreme
